- 2–3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear in oil and butter over medium-high heat, 5–6 min per side.
- Remove chicken. Add garlic and broth, scrape up browned bits.
- Whisk in cream cheese until smooth.
- Return chicken to skillet; simmer covered 5–7 min until cooked through.
- Serve hot with sauce spooned on top.
Notes
- Add spinach or mushrooms during final simmer.
- Use full-fat cream cheese for richest flavor.
