  • 4 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
  • Boiling water
  • Cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the red layer: In a bowl, mix 2 boxes of red jello with 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin. Add 2 cups boiling water and stir until dissolved. Cool then pour into a greased 9×13-inch pan and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  2. Create the white layer: Mix sweetened condensed milk with 1 cup boiling water. Sprinkle 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin over ½ cup cold water, let stand, then dissolve with additional boiling water. Combine with the milk mixture, cool, pour over the red layer, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Make the blue layer: Mix 2 boxes of blue jello with 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin in a bowl. Add 2 cups boiling water and stir until dissolved. Cool then pour over the white layer and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  4. Serve: Cut into squares using a sharp knife and lift out with a metal spatula.
